About
Recycle Rewards is a UK-based platform that helps households log recycling, see estimated CO₂ impact, follow community progress and build towards available rewards.
Recycle Rewards is operated by Recycle Rewards Ltd (Company No. 17192028), registered in England and Wales, and based in Warrington, United Kingdom. The platform is designed to support cleaner recycling habits, council engagement, sponsor partnerships, and measurable sustainability outcomes.
The platform is in free UK early access, with formal council pilots launching area by area. No payment or card is required to create an account and log recycling.
Users select a material and enter its weight. Photo and AI guidance are optional unless a clearly labelled pilot activity requires evidence.
Recorded logs earn estimated CO₂ Impact Points from weight and material type. Points support progress, community rankings and reward eligibility.
The platform provides personalised bin dates and recycling guidance based on postcode and local authority, where coverage is available.
Users can follow personal and household estimates over time and see progress across the wider community.
No. Recycle Rewards is designed to complement — not replace — existing local authority recycling services. The platform encourages correct recycling behaviour that aligns with each user's local council rules, aiming to reduce contamination and increase participation in existing collection streams.
