CO₂ Impact Points are the official scoring unit in Recycle Rewards. They are calculated using the weight and material type of each verified recycling submission, multiplied by UK CO₂ equivalency factors. 1 CO₂ Impact Point represents approximately 0.01 kg of CO₂ equivalent saved.

How is recycling verified?
